Our history
We were grown in the social hall of Mount Baker Presbyterian Church. Mount Baker Presbyterian was incorporated in 1908 and is the oldest church in Concrete Wa. In its 100 plus years of ministry we have brought several firsts to Eastern Skagit County. Including the first 12 step meeting, The first homelessness shelter and the first to bring drug treatment services to the community. The need for supportive services in the community led us to creating a services hub for all things related to substance use disorder
Our mission
We exist to love our neighbors through presence, justice, and shared humanity, standing alongside those who are marginalized, listening to their stories, and working together for dignity, healing, and hope. Our outreach seeks not to save or fix, but to serve, advocate, and build community rooted in compassion and mutual care.
